Environmental Protection Theme Essay
The gentle breeze brings good news, and the pen tip shines with brilliance! In the theme essay competition organized by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Anqing City, four students from Junior High School Department of the east campus used words as their wings and achieved outstanding results, winning several awards. Behind each of these certificates that carried honor, there lay not only students' passion for literature, but also their profound understanding and expression of the environmental protection concept.
To start with, the Chinese language classroom is a fertile ground for generating inspiration and a stage for expressing love. Thus, drawing inspiration from classic literature, and honing the expressiveness of writing in daily compositions, students learned to depict the chirping of insects under the starry sky with delicate strokes to write about the perseverance in protecting the beautiful homeland with sincere emotions, and sketch the greenery of the future city with ingenious imagination. In addition, those paragraphs that have been vividly depicted on the paper are not only environmental protection declarations but also poetic confessions of youth.
Furthermore, when environmental protection knowledge is transformed into vivid stories, and when discarded items are turned into creative handicrafts, the shining light in students' eyes represents their deep and sincere protection of our Earth. In the meantime, when they felt the temperature of the soil and listened to the natural breathing, the ‘green mountains and clear waters’ were no longer just words in a textbook, but a never-fading picture in their hearts.
Overall, the most beautiful form of education lies in the encounter between knowledge and sentiment. Therefore, this award is a testament to the blossoming of ‘Green Seed’ in the realm of words. More remarkably, we look forward to seeing more young people using their words to illuminate the world and allowing the literary charm of their pen strokes to continue to grow!
